Description
ENVIRO FLOORS FLOW AID
Enviro Floors Flow Aid is for use in improving the flow of any waterborne coating over a surface by reducing the surface tension.
Flow Aid also assists in greatly reducing rejection and the ‘quilting effect’ between blocks of parquetry or timber boards, from the effect of surface tension reduction and flow and wetting enhancement.
FLOW AID FEATURES
Provides a major improvement in:
- Rejection resistance (craters and ‘fish eyes’)
- Flow and levelling (roller or applicator marks, ‘quilting’ effect especially on parquetry)
Enhances the flow of coatings in situations of:
- Low level contamination of a surface to be coated. A coating may flow, but adhesion will need to be confirmed if the surface has suspect contamination.
- Coating over unknown surfaces. Again, verify adhesion.
- Use of older coatings that have lost some ‘wetting’ action
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- Add 1 measure (25 ml) per 5 litres of coating material as a basic dosage.
- A maximum dosage of 100 ml per 5 litres can be used in major rejection situations; however, verify adhesion is OK.
- Shake well before use. Failure to shake well can cause ‘pitting’ of the coated surface.
- Whatever level is added into a coat, following coats will require that same level of addition.
- Overdosing can cause an orange peel effect.
